"This is sumo-wrestler style Merlot – powerful and fleshy, ripe, concentrated, oaky and alcoholic. The fruit is at the crème de cassis/blackberry jam end of the spectrum and there's lots of oak and even more tannin. It's firm, chewy and big, but it is balanced, albeit in its uncompromising style. 88/100 "
