From densely planted vineyards on a perfect south-easterly slope near the village of San Leonino, this is a very traditional style of Chianti with violet and red cherry characters, vibrant acidity and sweet spice.
"In the heart of the Tuscany region lies the area of Chianti, where the Sangiovese grape thrives. Cherry and sweet spice flavours make this fantastic with bbq's and pasta dishes."

The Tessari family have been growing grapes in Soave since 1887, but in 1982 the family, aware of their land's great potential for producing high-quality wines, decided to stop selling their grapes to the local Co-op and begin making their own wine. The result is a stunning white with citrus, floral and buttery notes and a rich yet fresh palate. This wine will be beautifully matched with hors d'oeuvres and fish-based courses.
"Suaveness is a quality in short supply these days, but this wine has it in abundance. It is fresh and clean, yet rich on the palate and displays vibrant citrus fruit with subtly nuanced creamy and nutty notes. Despite a price that puts it within reach of us all, it's as suave and sophisticated as David Niven bowling down to Royal Ascot in a vintage Morgan."
